About the Seminary

Your Gateway to Faith, Learning, and Leadership

Established in 2021 and located in Amherstburg, Ontario—at the southernmost tip of Canada near Windsor and adjacent to the U.S. states of Michigan and Ohio—the Seminary of Sacred Knowledge (SSK) stands as a regional hub for Islamic learning and spiritual development. Strategically positioned at the crossroads of cross-border exchange, SSK embodies a Community Learning & Living model that integrates tradition with relevance.

SSK is dedicated to nurturing both hearts and minds through programs that foster a deep connection to the Qur’an and Sunnah via traditional Islamic sciences. Its curriculum includes a one-year Islamic Studies Diploma, a full-time Hifz Program, and specialized Tafseer online and on-site courses. These initiatives aim to equip students with a comprehensive foundation in Islamic theology, jurisprudence, history, and spiritual practice.

The seminary’s purpose-built campus includes multiple classrooms, a prayer hall, gymnasium, outdoor soccer field, and children’s play area—offering an environment that promotes both academic excellence and holistic development.

True to its mission, SSK is deeply invested in the next generation. Through seasonal youth intensives, holiday programs, and faith-based recreational activities, SSK empowers young Muslims to strengthen their faith, character, and love for Islam—bridging spiritual roots with everyday life.
